Ich freu mich total, dass ich vorhin einen Flug nach Malta gebucht habe: Es ist eines der sechs Länder, in die ich unbedingt mal reisen will! Am meisten interessiert mich die Sprache. Mal sehen, wie weit die Ähnlichkeit zum Arabischen geht — vielleicht spreche ich nach einer Woche fließend ;)

Mehr Zeit ist aber auch nicht, ich bin vom 24.-31.8. da (Direktflug von Leipzig, schlappe 207 Euro) und werde mit Johannes das kleine Eiland kreuz und quer heimsuchen. Yippieeeeee! Wenn jemand Geheimtips hat, her damit…

[inspic=218,right,gal,thumb]More than a year ago, I resolved to run a marathon some time. Well, a few days ago, I did it! Me and my running buddy Anselm once again chose the Rennsteiglauf, presumably one of Europe’s biggest cross-country runs, for our endeavor.

Let me just say that we both made it. It felt great, all in all, and I have the feeling that it was not our last one! Although it was not the easiest course for a first marathon (lots of climbs, narrow paths in the forest, and we actually had to run 27 miles!), I finished after 4:05:44 which I think is a great time. Anselm even stayed below 4h!

[inspic=217,left,gal,0]And the winner is… Leipzig! Well, maybe not in terms of absolute temperatures, but just look at that lovely yellow sun and imagine a deep blue, cloudless sky. Haha, you should all come here! I’m at the lake almost every day. Too bad there’s a MA thesis somewhere waiting to be written…
